Where is the independent scene going in Europe? How much load can the independent performing arts, which are based on values such as tolerance and openness, carry? And how can they be strengthened in a climate characterized by scepticism of Europe?
These questions were at the focus of the »International Network for contemporary performing arts« (IETM) meeting that took place in Munich in November 2018. The book published at the conclusion of the event is titled »Res publica Europa – Networking the performing arts in a future Europe«. It will be presented in a talk with Axel Tangerding as well as in a reading of several excerpts.
