The five opinionated dance solos that are elaborately linked together in this film were nominated at the competition »Das beste deutsche Tanzsolo« (»Best German dance solo«) within the euro-scene Leipzig 2005. The idea to this competition comes from the Belgian choreographer Alain Platel from Ghent. The film shows the fascination of adapting dance by means of the other art form film.The five conceptions of space for the film adaptation of the solos refer to the individual dances while creating five entirely different pictures through graphic means, light, colour space and colour depth.
