At 10. and 11. Nov. will be shown the dance concert »Duo con piano – Tanzstück für zwei Pianisten« (»Duo con piano – dance piece for two pianists«) in the Peterskirche.



What came first – dance or music? What connections can occur between physical and acoustic levels? In a sound and movement improvisation, various approaches to the interplay between the two art forms will be explained on the basis of examples and then realized in practice.

The workshop is intended for amateurs and semi-professional dancers. Gianfranco Celestino and Annalisa Derossi offer insights into the process of creating their dance concert »Duo con piano – Tanzstück für zwei Pianisten« (»Duo con piano – dance piece for two pianists«), that is being shown as a guest performance at euro-scene Leipzig at the same venue. The two artists, who were born in Italy and reside in Luxembourg, were educated as both dancers and pianists.
